About Me

Hi, I'm JustDan (Daniel Alvarez), and welcome to JustDan Journey! My love for travel started with the constant visit to the beaches in my country Costa Rica, where I collected many amazing memories growing up in my beautiful country. But it was after moving to New York and venturing into international travel, especially through Europe (Spain and Switzerland), I caught the travel bug. I found myself constantly researching destinations and practical valuable information about them. The pandemic brought me a new perspective, showing the importance of seizing every opportunity to explore so let's say that was the Catalyst of this project.

JustDan Journey is my way of sharing my experiences and inspiring others to embark on their adventures. I'm passionate about providing useful and practical information so that when you read my blog or watch my YouTube videos, you feel informed and inspired to book your next trip. I aim to give you my best and honest advice, from budget-friendly tips to occasional luxurious splurges, covering everything from historical sites like the mind-blowing ruins of Ephesus (walking through that ancient city was incredible!) to natural wonders like the awe-inspiring Matterhorn in Zermatt and of course everything about New York City.
